Hi there - I'm new to the horse scene - so I'm not
100% sure if I am describing this situation the
right way but here it goes. On my horses back hoof
I can see where the top of the hoof as separated
from the heel - its probably about 1" opening. The
only reason I know this is because there was alot of
blood in his stall when I fed him this morning. He
isn't limping and doesn't seem to be bothered by it
and it isn't bleeding anymore. Should I be applying
some kind of antibiotic to it? Band-aids? Any advice?
