: Hi,
I forgot to add that when I first got the horse he would stand like an inverted A with all four feet tucked under his belly...
Now, many abcesses later and trims and shoes, he stands normal with weight evenly distributed on all four feet.
He does not point his toes, or stand parked out in the front, and when you pick his feet he shifts the weight onto the other foot fine, until you touch the back of the frog by the sole.
He had pads on for a while, but they were taken off by the farrier the last time - now he has thrush also...
Any other suggestions would be very helpful as I have to find another farrier close by for him now.
Thanks again for reading all this.
