Thanks for the imput. Does turpentine help. My horse used to be in his stall most of the time. And he really doesn't have any other unsoundness problems. Just yesterday he was adjusted by a chiropracter. I hope that helps too. He doesn't paw very often outside, he does sometimes in the crossties but that is all that I have seen. My farrier decided to try regular shoes. He spends quite a bit of time on each hoof, seperatly and does know all his problems. I have my horse on biotin but is there anything else that works better. Ohh, it is never the same foot either. All four feet are mushy when they are wet even from just giving him a bath before a show. He is a performance horse that is used just about every weekend for shows. And he is work just about every day for practice. I am not sure what kinds of shots were given to him. Thanks for all the help!
