I have an ongoing disagreement with my farrier. My horse is winging on his right foreleg. To my eye (over 25+ yrs w/horses) it appears that the outside of his hoof is higher.
Before he was shod I would simply rasp it level(to my eye)after he left and did not seem to have a problem. Now with shoes I of course cannot do that and he really seems to be getting worse.
Is he correct in saying that it is not in his work? If he is correct is there anything else that can be done to correct this problem. He is a big boy standing about 16.3" and has to have shoes
now or his feet simply become a mess just from the the size of him. any info on this subject will be greatly appreciated.
