This is actually pertaining to my friends horse. Loretta (friend) has been having some serious problems with him. So I am going to try to give you the short version to see if you can give me any suggestions.

Cliff(Horse) was purchased approx. 1 year ago. He came off the track as a pony horse. He seemed to be just fine(for the exception of ring bone on one rear foot). She rode him all the time. Approx. 6 months ago he started stumbling to the extreme while being ridden. It is now to the point that she is unable to ride him at all and he has a hard time walking, trotting and when he canters he bunny hops. She has seperated him from all other horses and walks him on foot daily to give him a little exercise.

She has had a Chiropractor look at him (that was before he was really bad), a vet look at him, and her farrier came out this morning and looked at him.

The Chiropractor didn't find much wrong and where he did it was up in his next close to his withers.

The vet said that it looked like he had a pinched nerve in his neck that was affecting the spinal cord. He said that is why his rear end isn't working the way it should be.

The farrier said that he see's it as something going on in his hips. He said thta he has lost most of his muscle mass on the side where the ring bone is. He said to him it was more the hip than a pinched nerve in the neck.

I hope you can give me a little insight to what you have seen or your idea of what you think might be wrong.
