I have a 3 yr. old TN Walker/QH who scalps (the toe of the front hoof strikes the back hoof and leg) so badly that he constantly cuts himself causing and swelling and bleeding. Is there anything different that I can have our farrier do to correct this problem? He seems to get worse the closer it gets to his next trimming.
