I don't know about horse clinics back East but try this website... www.suite101.com It's a great website for horse related help! You need to create an account but it's free. Also, theres a DVD/Video that is available on e-bay...I got it for $20.00. Just do a search in the equine area on horses and hoof trimming. It's a GREAT DVD! I just learned how to trim my own horses feet after and, unless you need to do corrective shoeing, is pretty easy.
