I had my horse's shoe pulled on Monday of this week, his feet were lightly filed, not trimmed. I was told by my farrier that he should not feel any discomfort. Tuesday he was slightly stiff, today he can hardly walk. I have started Bute. Hopefully tomorrow he will be better. We are experiencing very cold weather right now and we have snow on the ground. He does have a dry stall with shaving to stand on or he can go out to a large run at will. What causes this condition? Alice
