: : : : : : As farriers, what kind of Christmas gifts from your clients are your favoriates?

: : : : : The best gift you can give a farrier is a comfortable place to work. If that is not in the budget, a handshake and thanks for a job well done goes a long way.

: : : : I already provide that, wanted to give him something above the norm. A few people have told me they tip their farriers, or give cookies or maybe a gift certificate for dinner.

: : : Sometimes I get Dunkin Donut gift certificates, doesn't help the waste line but sure taste good. I like the nice place to work and a pat on the back the best though.

: : Christmas cookies are always a nice treat. (I have a huge sweet tooth, just ask anyone who knows me!)

: : Malinda

: Ditto on the cookies! Patty

Can't eat the cookies (type II diabetes), but one of my customers gave my wife and I a Christmas card with an Applebee's gift card ----
