Have a 22 year old quarter horse foundering, Vet has been called, has suggested Butte and a shot and patches on legs, have myself not spoken to Vet as husband was there. I am so ignorant about the subject, what causes it etc., what chances are there for recovery. Horse is in pretty good shape, is there anything that I can do to help him other than what the Vet suggested. Also what to ask the shoer how is due out on Friday to do all my horses. Please help
