Katy, thanks for the encouragement. I am getting advice from a good vet and farrier. The mare is so lame right now I was wondering how she could ever come out of it. She is even too sore for shoes and we are just using a glued-on pad on the laminitic foot. The vet and farrier tried all kinds of shoes but they made her even worse. How long did you treat your horse?
