Today Lucky was re-shod with heart bar shoes, initially the farrier placed equi-foam pads on him and he did not respond well. So he pulled them off and started over. He ended up putting the styro foam pads back on Lucky until he is more stable, he (the farrier) will return at that time and try to re-set with the pads. Until then he will be wearing styro foam. Lucky is doing great considering he just got his feet banged on, he is standing balanced and very happy the whole ordeal is over for today at least :-D. It was awesome to stand there while he was getting his feet done and have him burry his little face into my stomach while I stroked his ears I hope I never forget that. Thanks to everyone who has given me some hope in Luckys recovery.
