this is easy your horse only need shoes for 3 reasons
1 he wears his feet faster than they grow
2 needs shod for the work he does driving/ traction
3 has a problem that needs correction

this is not to say he doesn,t need to be ballanced "trimmed" at regular 6 to 10 week visits for a qualified farrier. i have been shoeing for ten years and have my cert.
