I am considering the purchase of a 4 year old Paint gelding that has a quarter crack on his front left hoof. The current owner assured me her farrier told her he could correct the problem and that a previous farrier had most likely caused the crack. Can you tell me what a quarter crack is and should I be concerned enough about it to "walk away" from the purchase? Thanks, Terri
