The colt seemed to improve somewhat this weekend but last night and this morning was 3 legged lame again. He is still stalled. The vet came out this afternoon and did radiographs which showed no abnormalities. He thinks there is an abcess going on and wants me to have my farrier pare the sole to relieve the abcess so it can drain. Then soak in epsom salts & pack in iodine for several days.
