Thanks everyone for your help. Vet came today and the pink stuff was gone! Must have fallen off. Vet thinks is was proudflesh. Nothing to worry about there. But the hoof IS infected again. We are going to do radiographs on Wednesday. If it's in the bone, he says will have to put down. But good chance it has not reached it. Back to soaking, wrapping etc.
