Hi I have a gelding who lacerated his digital extensor tendon in his hind leg.The vet said we got lucky that it would proably heal ok.But it has been 3 months and he still knuckles over every once in a while.No special shoeing was advised.Is it to late to put something on him for support??He has been wrapped but was not casted.He has been in a small pens so his movement is restricted and hand walked.Any help is appriciated.thank-you
