: I need some help here I have a client that has a 10 year old thorobred that was a hunter jumper previous to her buying itwhen she bought him she had him veted abd they found some changes in the coffin .vet advised eggbars horse has been going real good . The guy that had been shoing him has been putting flat alum eggs on him they have mased the heels in and under. I took the alums off and mad a flat steel that fit the foot to get the heels back to growing . Have not been able to see the x-rays but I went back and placed bar wedge pads on with the eggs and he still seems to be lame The angle looks to be good from the outside without seeing x-rays. This horse is not sole sore and does not seem heel sore. Anythig that yall can suggest would be appericated .
: Thanks

You will need to see properly taken radiographs to place the breakover correctly on this horse. Elevating the heel with correct loading is only part of the solution.
