I shoe a horse with Nav. he's 17yrs.& arthritic. But i do not rocker the shoe, nor do i roll it & he seem's comfortable without it so i shoe him with a Eggbar shoe with bar wedges. He needs the bar wedges to be at a comfortable angle. The vet say's his Nav. bone is getting bad enough to elevate his heel's at this point. My question is do some Horses require rocker,roller toe. when other's don't? This Horse is alway's sound after a shoeing!
