: : : Charge extra so you can stay home and read a book?Does it really cost a lot to sit and read a magazine or sit thru a clinic? C'mon. Can I read a good book today and be worth $10 more per horse tomorrow? I dont think so.

You need the income to pay for the time and pay for the books. Do you have the rewrite of "Adams" that was published last year? I think the cost to me was on $100 in hard copy. Do you have "Equine Locomotion", I think the cost on that very thin book was also over a $100.

I have a number of books in my libary that were published in the past three years, that cost well in the hundreds of dollars. So some one must pay for these books. I budgeted around $600 a year just for books and publication in my business. In my new business I do the same. The cost is charged back to the owner. Then it takes time to read and research these books. That is part of the busines. The time is charged back to the owner again.

If you don't keep update with the new information then you fall behind, have less knowledge.
