: : I am working on an Horse that seem's impossible to trim or shoe. This Horse move's around when tied, crosstied or held by owner. I'm seriously thinking of getting a vet out there to sedate this animal. But vet's are way to busy for this! I get so frusterated i just wan't to throw up my hand's. But i'm petty patient cause i know that it just make's matter's worse if ever hurt them. These are fright & flight animal's. They still have the instinct of the wild Horses. What should i do? Any info?
:
: Have the owener train the horse. If you do the training you should charge at least $150 an hour plus the cost of trimming
: Vets will be glad to come out and stand by with "stand still juice". Just make sure the owner knows that they need to pay for your time and the time of the vets.

I do this from time to time and the owners don't have it done for long due to the expense. Actually, most of them saw the cost effectiveness of having the horse trained.
