Here's my simple yet effective way to handle the situation. Just say no! To reinforce my point find out how much it will cost for an ambulance ride and ER visit. Now ask yourself is it really worth this one PIG to maybe end your shoeing career? You can bet the next horse this owner gets will probably be a PIG too. Obviously the owner of this horse doesn't care for your safety.
Think about.
