Thank you Frank for your advise...I am riding with an experienced farrier to learn more about this type of shoeing...this is something that the farrier I was with during my apprenticeship didn't do (weighted shoes), and it is something I would like to learn more about. Since I have customers of my own I don't ride as often as I would like, and it seems that I tend to remember questions when I'm in the middle of doing something completly different. :)So I send them out into space.... I wouldn't try to put a set of shoes on that I didn't feel I was fully trained in!!! I realize how dangerous that can be. I just wanted to put your mind at ease, and thank you. Lori
