One of my customers had a nice little paint/pinto mare theat she competes on. It
was not bad enough that she was doing westen pleasure and barrels and poles, but now
she has started reining on her. This is a stocky pleasant hard working mare who has
been going barefoot up until now. Due to our wet spring and the increased work load,
the mare is going to need shoes, especially to protect the bulbs of her hind heels
when she slides. The judge at a show recently suggestee back shoes for this same
reason. I can shoe a reiner or a barrel horse, but what would work for both?
