We recentley took a trip to Oklahoma and Texas. We met Tim Mcquay's farrier (Hollywood Dun It). His name was Mick the australian. We watched him shoe for six hours, including "Custom Red Berry" and a full sister to "Footwork's Finest". He uses the 4 stars. He hates using aluminum shoes, but says if he has to, the 4 stars offer the most support and best protection. Just looking at the shoes themselves, we are thinking on trying them. We use the Elites now, and have been happy, but the 4 stars look better. Good luck!
