it is not the barefoot world that thinks this way, only a relatively small group of individuals with an agenda. Like many small, insignificant things, they suffer a Napoleon Complex and annoy everyone else with their vociferous nature. Like Napoleon, they are engaged in their battle of Waterloo, and like Napoleon's arch nemesis, Sir Arthur Wellesley,the Duke of Wellington, I choose to lead the (victorious)battle against them.

That said, we as farriers, both members and non-members of national organizations and the national organizations themselves, need to do a much better job of informing the public of our full complement of services, and to promote the aspects of what we do, outside of shoe applications.
