Words to the effect that it has been your past experience with this particular horse that when barefoot he has difficulty maintaining appropriate hoof balance. You are concerned that this may impede the veterinarian's wish for a full recovery and additionally result in a hoof that will require additional time to pull back together before the horse can return to performance.
