I have been working on a horse with severe white line desase for about a year.At first I had a basket case, hoof walls busted off 1/2 up the hoof no possible way to nail a shoe on. In one year we have gotten shoes to stay on and minamal fungus showing at the sole of the hoof. The horse seams to have devloped "elf shoes" ( the convex typed angle typical of foundered ponys) even though the hoof is cut to the blood line on every shoeing.I realize white line desease weekens the wall but I have never ran accross this before. Is this typical of really bad white line cases? Thanks
