: :e Rob can hold a clinic on the negatives of "Natual means of balancing a foot". Maybe he is not talking about the NB trim at all, maybe he is refering to some other Natural thingie dingie or widget, who knows. Then you get into the mix with all kinds of information and names and try to make a point about something?????????????????????? What is your point anyways?

: You made the point exactly, i was interested also in Rob's comments whether this "natural" or that "natural", but the tone became agonistic from yours and paty's posts. i didn't name a method or proceedure, you guys took it for granted. So i "Dug Out" some old personal notes from the Laminitis Symposium years ago and looked over some questions I had then and with recent science some questions now. i accepted the debate. I formatted the debate in a professional manner, premise and point or inference. Objectively with reference and no emotion to make it thought provoking.
: I was told a few years back "if you want to swim you better check the water first".
: FYI- if you divide snowfall amount by 3.42 or there abouts you can convert it to rainfall inches(U.S. Weather Service online)

Point well taken. The more I study and learn about the foot, the more Gene's Natural Balance Trim makes sense. I hope others do not turn a blind eye to it. It realy is a common sense trim. The word "Natural" is overused today and has become a buzz word in the industry that triggers skeptiscisim. I have not been formaly trained in the method, I have read and studied the tutorials, I have read Patty's answers to a variety of post and questions including questions of my own. I spoke with Gene and Patty in person this year, listened to Gene's talk on Navicular Desease and watched Gene demonstrate a trim. I think I understand it and have applied the trim myself for the past 2 years. I am excited and very pleased with the outcome. It has boosted my confidence in my work and improved the overall quality and soundness of hundreds of horses that I do. I defend it because I now believe in it and I hope that by supporting it others will at least take a look at it. I was a skeptic my self when I first heard about it and along with others I blew it off as another new thing that will come and go. I am glad that I asked questions and decided to take a closer look. I will try and contact Rochester Equine after the holiday and get any information that I can. I wanted to attend, however the schedule was to buisy.
Have a great Christmas and New year and hope to see more thought provoking post from you, we need to keep each other in check.
