: To conclude the debate I stated some interesting inferences in which, if they were "dug into", would show some balance and some flaws. that is why I stated them in the manner posted. I kept personal emotion out of the debate and showed how it can objectively looked at from one point of view. i was going to give a 4th premise which was to be biomechanics taken from "Rooney's Corner" on the site, but that would be "diggin to deep" for some and shocking to others. If the subject was other "natural means" the band wagon would have been full.
: "Farriers" are a small group of knowledgeable people which "should concern themselves with the whole horse not just the feet because one or more parts BALANCES the other".

Guenter, Thank you for all the references. We are so lucky to have so much resources at our finger tips. The best study is when your bent over studying the horses foot with your owne eyes. The more of them you study the better you become. This string all started with a request from Ralph Davis, he requested that if someone attends Rochester Equine's clinic could they share the info from Rob Sigafoose. I will try and get that information and share it. It bothered me to see Rob Sigafoose title his subject "The Pitfalls of using natural means to trim a foot." I posted here about 2 months ago asking for the pros and cons of using glue on shoes, the reason I did is becuase all I hear from Glue on proponents is the pros and never anything negative. But a glue on guy like Rob can hold a clinic on the negatives of "Natual means of balancing a foot". Maybe he is not talking about the NB trim at all, maybe he is refering to some other Natural thingie dingie or widget, who knows. Then you get into the mix with all kinds of information and names and try to make a point about something?????????????????????? What is your point anyways?
Happy Holidays
