I have a chronic foundered mare that I've resected during the summer and set in heart bars. She is doing fine. The snows have arrived and snow balling is a problem. I prefer not to use hospital plates. I do want to keep her in heart bars.
Does anyone have experience with heart bars and snow pads. What works and what doesn't? Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance.
