Ok I have a couple questions. The last week or so I have got 2 new clients. Both have foundered horses. Well 1 has 1 foundered horse and 1 foundered donkey! Anyway all the horses have been foundered for awhile none seem real sore, either that or there just use to it. The farrier I apprenticed with always told me to back the toe up, and get rid of dead, seperated wall at the toe. None of the hoses have at x-rays, heck one owner did not know what founder was! Is there anything I might consider with these horses? Or just keep the trims up if they apear in no pain? Also what is the EDSS system? And where can I find info on it? thanks for the help!
