The fully rockered shoe that Dr. Redden presented at the Laminitis Symposium I have found very beneficial in greatly moving back the breakover of numerous horses not only for laminitis, but also for underrun heels and navicular problems.
You may find that rockering the hoof is difficult and there may be insufficient hoof to accomplish your goal. I have either used the Vettech Super Fast to build more hoof to apply the shoe or have applied a flat or wedge pad to the hoof after rockering the pad to fit the rockered shoe. Either of these methods works well.
