Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. I'm Jonathan Cohen, D.V.M., a co-Resident Veterinarian of The Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center. I've been involved in the equine veterinary industry for the past seventeen years, and in that time I've been lucky enough to gain a wide variety of experiences in the industry. I'm fortunate to have a fairly unique perspective, as I've been a practicing farrier for the past fourteen years and a practicing veterinarian for the past six years. Currently I'm based in the Pompano Beach, Florida area, and participate in an active performance horse practice that focuses primarily on the Standardbred racehorse. Also, I am very active in the care of complicated hoof related lameness cases locally as well as nationally.

The purpose of this site is to make myself available to the farrier and the horseman, in order to help you help your horse. Please feel free to explore my site; it's still in the formative stages, and will eventually have such all sorts of interesting cases, and my opinions (which if you read the boards, I have no hesitation expressing!)
