Well, here is my first ever blog. This is also my first time to type anything at FHRC, although I will admit I do look through the forums from time to time.
It has been a whirlwind recently, having the Summit 2 weeks ago, getting home just in time to start the Farrier Blacksmith Course, and leaving in about 3 days for the convention. Cody, my son, has been practicing hard for the convention. Kind of putting dad to shame. When he finally beats me at a contest, what a day that will be.
Chad Chance from hoofwatch.com came to the shop to film a new video on Monday, and I guess he is going to have it in time for convention. When I talked to him earlier, he had only slept about 10 hour total since he left Lamar. What a worker.
The old guys used to always tell me how much faster time went. Not the only thing I have found them to be right about as I become an "old guy".
At any rate, Baron has been a long time friend (since the ponytail days), and I got to say, what a respectable thing he has done for our industry here. He asked me to look over the Co-Op, and do some blogging. Pretty good deal if I do say so. I also hired him to fix my website. If he can do half for it what he has done here, we should be in great shape. I am going to blog as long as there is some response. I would really appreciate any questions you guys can post, and I would really like your advice on what I should blog about. Even if your advice is that I should not blog. (Blog sure is a funny sounding word when we should just say write) Thanks for reading.
