Every few decades someone (or some group) produces a work of such educational value that it quickly becomes recognized as "the standard," and soon becomes a reference classic. Previous works of this stature at Doug Bulter's Horseshoeing, or LeRoy Amos' Limbs of the Equine.

This CD-ROM, The Horse's Foot, is destined for that stature. I can't even begin to describe how well it conveys the tremendous amount of information it contains. Extremely professional in nature, yet easy to comprehend by even a novice horse person.

A review such as this simply can't do justice to this CD. Let me put it this way: If you own a computer that plays CDs, (which is just about all computers sold in the past 3 years), and you can only afford to make one purchase for yourself concerning horses this year, this is the item to buy. You won't regret it. It belongs in the home of every horse person, be they professional or novice.
