This tape is a must for every farrier and horse owner. After viewing it I felt that every beginning farrier should be required to watch the tape at least twice. In a perfect world farriers wouldn't have to lead or handle the horses. The owners would be there to do the job. But the reality is that most farriers lead and handle the horses they shoe, and there's no excuse for an accident happening while the horse is being handled.
An even better idea would be for every farrier to purchase a few copies of this tape, and sell it to their customers. Sure it's nice to make the profit, but the real motive here is for the farrier to create a safer working environment. If the owners and handlers are better educated in the handling of horses, there will be fewer accidents.
Everything is covered in this tape, step-by-step. From taking horses in and out of stalls, leading them, even how to load them into trailers. A very comprehensive and well made tape which belongs in every horse person's collection.
