Another Tool

Many of today's farriers go to considerable lengths to project a professional image. It has become commonplace to see them driving custom rigs with nice signs on the sides. Wearing jackets, shirts, and caps with their business name and slick logo printed upon them. Handing out fancy color embossed business cards with their website addresses.

All of this is well and good. But it only goes so far. After all, anyone with a bit of cash (or credit) can buy a custom rig with nice signs, printed jackets, shirts, and caps, fancy business cards and a website... In fact, you can probably find rookies and hobbyists with all of the above, plus most of the other trappings of a professional farrier, at any major horseshoeing clinic or conference.
