Pennsylvania Professional Farriers
Association
Welcome to the Web Site of the PPFA. The PPFA was
formally organized on March 22, 1997, and the Constitution and officers were
put in place by majority vote at the first annual spring certification clinic
on June 7, 1997.
As stated in the by-laws, the purpose of the the
PPFA is to organize farriers and other interested parties in the state of
Pennsylvania, so as to facilitate learning, ongoing education and promote the
farrier industry. The reaction to the formation of the PPFA has been
overwhelmingly positive, and presently there are over 80 members.
We at the PPFA urge you to please read over the
material in our Site, and consider joining us in our goal of promoting and
improving the farrier industry. This is our livelihood, and we care about it.
Hopefully you do as well.
All PPFA members are listed in the Farrier Finder
of the Farrier & Hoofcare Resource Center. If you would like a list of just
the PPFA members, go to the Farrier Finder and type the letters PPFA into the
search box. Then start the search.
Thank you for visiting the PPFA Web Site. If you
have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, Phil Bower, by
E-mail.
