The Michigan Horseshoers Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promote and further the interests of all horseshoers in the state of Michigan. The main goal is to inform members of the new techniques and ideas; to cultivate friendship and understanding among members; to encourage the highest quality of workmanship possible; to cooperate with other related associations and groups to further good horsemanship; to encourage members to exchange information and ideas; and to further good horsemanship and provide education to owners, trainers and peers. The Michigan Horseshoers Association began in 1969. It is an organization which provides services to the horse owning population of the State. As the years have passed the number of horses in Michigan has grown, and so has the MHA. Without the support of volunteers and sponsors, it would be impossible for the MHA to meet the demands asked of the organization. Our members receive a numbered certificate of membership, which entitles each member to vote at the Annual Meeting held in January, wherein the Board of Directors are elected, and receive a quarterly Newsletter. We have a number of great events coming up. Take a look at our Calendar! Please consider joining the Michigan Horseshoers Association.
