The January clinic has been set for January 13th at the Fredrictown Veterinary center. This year’s clinician is Michael McNutt CJF. AFA. from New Concord Ohio. On the agenda along with the clinic is election of officers. Up for election this year are the following positions; Vice President, Secretary, and one Board of director.
The 2007 elections for the American Farriers Association are approaching. MEFA president Bob Hawk is urging all members to visit the official website of the AFA www.americanfarriers.org where you will find a link to the 2007 candidate statements. “The nominees for 2007 President-elect are: Rick Burten, CJF from Champaign, Illinois; and Andrew Elsbree, CJF, Greenville, NY. The nominees for 2007 Vice President are: Ron Kramedjian, Lynnville, TN; and Dick Fanguy, CJF, St. Gabriel, LA. RT Goodrich, CJF of Pomona, CA, has withdrawn his candidacy. A discussion board has been created at the member’s only section of the AFA web site. Candidates may post comments and members may ask questions of the candidates.
