AFA CONVENTION

The 37TH American Farriers Convention in Lexington Kentucky brought more than eight hundred people to the Bluegrass State. MEFA was well represented with at least fifteen members in attendance. It is with great pride that we are happy to let everyone know that MEFA members Jim Foy, Bob Slansky, and Troy Price made the American Farriers Team. They will be attending three AFA practices in Virginia, California, and Kentucky, but most importantly they will represent the USA in Calgary in July and in England in August. One can only imagine the knowledge and experience they can bring back to our association. Congratulations to all of our members who competed in a very cold arena in the Kentucky Horse Park. Here are MEFA members convention results.

Next year the convention will be in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Please try to come and compete, expand your skills at some great lectures, and cheer on the incredible MEFA talent.
Please add an extra prayer for long time member Jim Bondra in recovery from open-heart surgery in March. Get well and back under horses soon!
