FSFA Board Meeting of October 25, 1996

Location: Visby Products - Lake Worth, Florida

Old business:

WARM UP
Larry Downs will bring students to work as stewards at the contest. Edward Martin will be the Judge for the contest and for the clinic the day before. (February 8th and 9th) Alternate hotel wasn't available so the Ramada Inn in Plant City will be the host hotel.

Jim Zimmerman will be the new liaison to work with Mike at the fairgrounds. James Morgan will do the class sheets, etc. the day of the contest. Need to see if Charlie will do the auction and need someone to collect donations for the auction.

Need someone to produce the program and people to sell ads. Daryl will send out forms to members for ad sales. Need someone to get horses for live shoeing. Denny and James to do class outlines, times, etc.

New business:

• T.J. Jones is our new Certification Chairman
• Treasurer (Sarah) has stickers for trucks.
• Need ideas for future clinics. Possible dates: early December - Orlando location a possibility.
• Board made decision to lock-in mailing date for newsletter.
• Need at least two articles from members for each newsletter.
• Auction proceeds to benefit Gaylan.
• Need nominations for President and Secretary.
• Need PR Chairman.
• Trailer is being repaired.
